All Araucaria made Flow Hives and Supers need to be sealed with at least 2 coats of exterior-grade, good quality house paint. As with all outdoor paint, it will require a refresh every 12-24 months depending on local conditions.

We did loads of research and learning before we finally purchased a Flow hybrid. Super easy to put together as a rainy weekend job. A month later we were ready to dive in and found a nuc from someone we met at our first local bee club meet- where we met Stu as well! Looking forward to adding the super & flow frames soon as the busy bees are filling their brood box up so fast. So excited for our first harvest.
