Now you’ve familiarised yourself with the hard-working honeybee, it’s time to get set up with 40,000 (give or take) bees of your own, along with a hive, suit and smoker!
Not sure how Flow works? We break it down below:
The Flow Hive is an invention that makes honey harvesting easier for the beekeeper and gentler on the bees.
Flow® Frames are partially built honeycomb which the bees complete, fill with honey and cap with wax. They are made in Australia from BPA- and BPS-free plastic.
With the unique, clear end-frame view, beekeepers can easily see when the honey cells have been capped and when the honey is ready for harvest.
By simply inserting and turning a handle, the cells crack, the hexagons turn into channels and the honey flows down into the trough and into your jar. It really is honey on tap!
Where can I go to carry on learning?
There's always more to discover about beekeeping, which is part of what makes it so wonderful.
A free weekly Q&A session streamed live from the Flow apiary, plus hundreds of hours of footage in the library.
